…ried and am still trying to teach myself not to act directly, but to sit with it for a few moments. I’ve mastered this in written communication, but in a one-on-one conversation, that’s not always easy to do. Then I revert to my default, and defend myself or my actions, even when it’s unnecessary to do so.
