There's a prequel where he tries to be a good guy, and I loved writing him. Not quite so much this time. Then there's a sequel to this story where he's even more corrupted by the ring and even more disturbing, which I wrote with a kind of horrified detachment: he's a caricature/mish-mash of serial killer tropes layered on top of his character in most of that one. But there are two more episodes (one waiting to be published, one being written atm) where I get to redeem him, and he can be a real character again because his head is habitable.
