Thank you. I'm really not judging anyone who chooses, or can choose, FoM membership: I'm happy for them; their time and money is theirs and they should use them in whatever ways make them happy; and anyone choosing to reward any writers makes me happy (and does good).

All I'm judging is how Medium chooses to take the extra income from FoMs, add a little more taken from the rest of us, and distribute it to the 'right' people.

But two FoMs read my stories, so I must be a little bit 'right'. I might even be 'nice' when I'm not writing degenerate filth. 😁

And I suspect you're right to be wary of another algorithmic adjustment. I get a sense Medium is flailing around trying to find a model which works. Maybe this one will be it, but even if it is, I imagine they'll finetune it. I hope they tune it in your direction.
