Thank you! I wholeheartedly agree with every word you said. And I did remember your comment about Professor Sir William as I was reflecting on why your story made such an impression on me. I think in both cases (Sir William and your narrator) it's the directness and honesty of their desire that lends authenticity, and it's authenticity which connects with the reader; I believe it's essentially human to share in someone else's passion, honestly expressed, even if we don't share their desire.

I'd like to say I immediately thought of your story when I wanted an example of quality erotica. I didn't: my mind doesn't catalogue things that way. So I had to search for a well-written erotic story whose impact I remembered. I did search your homepage first (because I wanted a well-written story) and I only passed up on Sinru and Saan, and Violet and Vivian because I wanted a story with nothing but erotica content to judge it on. I stopped scrolling on "Your First Night…" because I remembered it immediately and I knew I'd struck gold. I remembered its unapologetic authenticity, and how I felt when I read it, and afterwards. And I remembered thinking it felt like an authentic challenge to an inauthentic prompt, which raised it a point above perfect.
