He has a point. It feels like we get a new superhero every day since The Event. I’m trying to break into a crowded market, which is why my agent hired a promotions manager.

“You can still be anonymous, but people need to know that Goldwing is a real woman, someone they can connect with.”
“The public don’t need to know who rescues them, they just need to be rescued.”
“They’ll get rescued by whoever the authorities call when there’s a disaster. They might call Captain Courageous because they follow her on Twitter, or Vanquisher because they watch his cookery show on YouTube. People prefer to call on someone they feel they can trust, someone they already have a parasocial relationship with. So you need an online presence, one that showcases your best qualities.”
