One of my favourite Medium notifications, above "So-and-So followed you", is "Teresa Wymore submitted a draft…"

I smile when I see it, and I'm never disappointed when I read the story. Intelligent, complex characters, in a tangible place and time, telling a compelling tale. Enough revealed to give the story direction, enough held back to give it purpose. Wonderful, as ever.
