I just learned yesterday that Medium judges clapping individually. So if someone (me) always claps fifty times, it's the same as if I clapped once. But if I usually clapped ten times, Medium would know fifty from me meant a better story than usual, and reward it accordingly (maybe even with a whole cent).

Medium needs to go back to just dividing our subs between everyone we read (which is what they still claim to do in their false advertising)
