About me?

No, I don't like that. I hide behind words, I don't expose myself with them.

Except I do.

I began as an erotica writer who didn't write erotica. I did write a lot of smutty stories, with rude words and graphic descriptions of sex, but they have few perfect, beautiful seductresses or alpha males with oiled muscles. I didn't write intending to arouse anyone; I wrote (hoping) to make them think about sex. And if you imagine those are the same thing, you need to think about sex more.

They say to write what you know, so my genre was FPF—flawed people fucking. Erotica has its tropes and cliches, which readers expect and appreciate, whereas flawed people do flawed things: I'm never happier than when I'm twisting a trope or turning a story upside down in the final paragraph.

These days, I write less smut, but I still write about strange people doing strange things. I try to make my characters more 'real' by including a little of myself in all of them. On some level, then, every story is about me. It's just a different me than the one who wrote it.

So if you really want to know about me, read my stories.
