A lot of it has already been written by better people than me. Even from the start, most British suffragettes wanted the vote for 'nice' women like them, not working class women, and in the US many wanted to exclude black women like Sojourner Truth. The sex positive/negative split each exclude, both sides of the trans issue exclude…organised feminism always excludes, because organisations always exclude in order to establish a group identity. For some reason, the group can never just be 'women'.
